Description
In keeping with our universal and flexible product line, the GG&G Tactical Illuminator Adapter Rail For Dovetails accommodates the Streamlight TLR-1 and TLR-2 and Insights M3/M6 tactical illuminators and integrates with systems such as the GG&G Modular Tactical Forearms, Knight Armaments Company's "RIS" or "RAS" forearms or the D.S. Arms rail units for the FN FAL series. It is easily installed and provides a solid and rugged mounting base for the small but powerful "gun lights". This clever squeeze rail design will fit on MIL-STD-1913 and other "Weaver"style dovetails. The full length side bar provides strong and stable mounting. Both the adapter rail and the tactical illuminators can be easily installed or removed. The light locking groove provides a reliable and stable point of retention. It is manufactured from billet 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum and is Type III hard-coat anodized matte black per mil-spec. To keep the operator safe, all edges have been de-horned.
