When lapping a bore, pressure will likely increase with grit impregnated bullets. Due to the likely increase of pressure, light loads are recommended. Five shot strings up to a maximum of twenty shots of each grit are recommended. Repeating the process using progressively finer grits will produce a significantly smoother bore.
